Our Youth Ministry reaches middle and high school students with the love and gospel of Jesus Christ. Through weekly Bible studies and various youth gatherings, we strive to instruct, encourage, and equip them in their walk with Christ as they face a world that is pulling them away from Godly morals and beliefs. Consistent Bible Studies and yearly camps and retreats help to build unity within our group and to strengthen their personal faith and walk with the Lord.

A time for games, snacks, building relationships, and studying God’s Word together.

James 1:22 Discipleship

6:30 p.m. Wednesdays
 
Wednesday night discipleship class where we discuss how to live out what God’s Word says.

One Accord Weekend

January 16th-18th 2026
 
We are excited to be a part of One Accord Weekend in 2026 where we will team up with other youth ministries in our community. Winter Ski Trip

February 13th-16th 2026
 
Each year we have a ski trip in the winter usually on Presidents Day weekend. We’ve skied at 4 different resorts across West Virginia and Pennsylvania. In 2026 we will be skiing at Beech Mountain, NC. This trip is a great opportunity to learn a new skill, grow closer together as a Youth Group, and have fun in the snow which we never get to see down here in southeast Georgia.
 
The Ski Trip is during President’s Day Weekend so that students are hopefully out of school. The trip cost is $350 per person and we have fundraising opportunities to help with that cost. You can register for the Ski Trip Here.
 

Summer Camp

June 28th – July 3rd 2026
 
For Summer Camp we go to Look Up Lodge in Travelers Rest, SC. Summer Camp is a great time to grow closer as a Youth Group, have a lot of fun in beautiful mountains, and be challenged to walk closely with Jesus. Look Up facilitates all 3 of those things very well and we are looking forward to going back!
 
The cost is $450 per Student and we will have fundraising opportunities to help with that cost. Our Summer Camp is for students who have completed 6th-12th grade. If you have any questions, please let Pastor Cameron know. You can register for Summer Camp Here.
 

Fall Apologetics Weekend

October 17th-19th,  2025
 
For our fall retreat we go to Awanita Valley in Marietta SC for an Apologetics Weekend. Although we still have lots of fun in the mountains, on the lake, and riding in the Hummers, this trip focuses on deep teaching and discussion about what we believe as Christians and why.
